We’re hiring! Director of Operations and Technology

CSCCE is growing again! We’re looking for someone to partner with our Director, Lou Woodley to oversee a more robust and integrated use of tools and manage an increasing number of core relationships with our admin-support firm, fiscal sponsor and various vendors and contractors. This is a senior-level position, and we’re ideally looking for someone with experience working for a STEM nonprofit. If this sounds like you, or someone you know, read on for more information!

Who we’re looking for

As CSCCE has grown, we’ve built out a series of processes and workflows that keeps our small team nimble and free to think creatively. We’re now at a point where we need to implement some additional technology solutions to manage our client, learner, and community member relationships. And, we need someone who can take on the increasing amount of financial and partner management.

So, we’re looking for someone with experience implementing and optimizing a customer relationship management (CRM) platform, integrating that system with other technology solutions (including our new learning management system and existing tools such as MailChimp and Slack).

The other key part of the role will involve working with both our fiscal sponsor and our administrative support firm to manage financial relationships with clients, partners, and granting organizations. And, we are looking for someone with some experience working in the STEM nonprofit sector who can speak fluently about our organizational mission to existing and future partners.

About working at CSCCE

Currently, the CSCCE team includes six people, and the new Director of Operations and Technology would join our three-person leadership team. They would also be responsible for managing up to two direct reports by the end of their first year, and collaborating with all members of the team as required.

We’re a small, collaborative, all-remote and US-based team, and our day-to-day operations are guided by our core values. We’ve found that to succeed and flourish here, as well as role-specific skills, you’ll need to be comfortable with a range of virtual collaborative tools, able to communicate transparently about your work, and, if you’re not already familiar with STEM community management, willing to learn about our mission and offerings.
