Congratulations to our newest CSCCE certified community manager!

Each quarter, we celebrate the participants who recently completed the CSCCE Community Manager Certification Program. As a modular program, individuals graduate on their own timelines, and this quarter we said “congratulations” to Tajuddeen Gwadabe, who joined the program while supporting the Catalyst Project through OLS, and since moved to a new position at the Masakhane Research Foundation.

In this blog post, you can read more about Taj’s journey through the program, which learners can personalize to meet their needs and interests, and learn about Quarterly Skills Share sessions (one of the components of the Certification Program). If you’re interested in learning more about the program, or enrolling in it yourself, please send an email to info@cscce.org

Tajuddeen’s journey through the program

A slide summarizing Tajuddeen's journey through the CSCCE Community Manager Certification Program, which included completing CODE, PBK, and NOC, 6 Mini-workshops, and presenting a lightning talk.

Tajudden joined the CSCCE Community Manager Certification Program in 2023, as Program Manager for the Catalyst Project, on which CSCCE also partnered (and you can read more about in this blog post). Taj was part of the pilot cohort of our Content Design (CODE) course, planning out strategic content to support engagement. And through his participation in Creating Community Playbooks he nucleated internal documentation for Catalyst. Taj’s QSS lightning talk (see below for more!), which he presented in March of 2026, gave us a glimpse into his new role at the Masakhane Research Foundation and the community-engaged content campaigns he’s been working on for the Masakhane African Languages Hub.

Congratulations, Tajuddeen!

About QSS sessions

QSS, or Quarterly Skills Share sessions, are regular opportunities for participants in the Certification Program to share their knowledge and expertise with each other. Participants present once during the time of their enrollment, and attend unlimited additional sessions to support and learn from others in the program.

“Being able to connect in small groups with other community managers was essential for problem solving, networking…and the occasional commiseration about challenges!” – Past Certification Program graduate

Quarterly Skills Share sessions are also open to other active CSCCE learners – you’ll automatically get an invite to a QSS this fall if you join us for either of our open courses!
