About the CSCCE Network Ambassadors program

This pilot CSCCE champions program was established in September 2026 with an initial group of approximately 20 members of the CSCCE community of practice. The program is intended to support the following goals:

  • Spread the word about CSCCE’s trainings and resources to broader audiences, and ensure that STEM professionals in a range of settings know what we are doing to support them in building community and collaboration.
  • Nucleate a formalized network of CSCCE champions who take on various emergent leadership roles – we envision the CSCCE Network Ambassador program as the first of several opportunities for community members to get more involved.
  • Create more opportunities for CSCCE champions to work with each other, including consulting on resources-in-progress and providing feedback on our external communications efforts.

Benefits of taking part

All CSCCE Network Ambassadors receive the following benefits for taking part:

  • A digital badge they can share on LinkedIn (and other platforms) that names their role as a CSCCE Network Ambassador.
  • Complimentary access to up to four CSCCE Quarterly Skills Share sessions (or equivalent) each year that they are part of the program.
  • Connection to other Network Ambassadors via a private Slack channel in the CSCCE community of practice.
  • The option to be featured as a CSCCE Network Ambassador on this page of the CSCCE website (see below!).
  • Additional opportunities to engage with CSCCE staff on future community programming and resources.

Coming soon…

We envision the CSCCE Network Ambassador program as the first of several opportunities for members of our community of practice to get more involved in developing and delivering community programming, co-working on new community resources, and supporting CSCCE training courses as facilitators or guest speakers. If you are interested in discussing the prospect of additional CSCCE champions programs with us, send us an email!
