Sustaining project

Projects that grow and expand the group’s area of focus such as developing new products or services e.g., a new training course or a new assay. These projects start with medium to high uncertainty — the path to the desired outcome isn’t necessarily clear. They typically have medium complexity and require building shared expectations, defining success upfront, and avoiding scope creep. (Chapter 2, p. 34)*
